MultiGrip Jaws

MultiGrip Jaws work exclusively with the MultiGrip Vise and are available in a variety of configurations to suit almost any part. MultiGrip jaws feature the patented MultiGrip Vise Interface on bottom of the jaws. The MultiGrip Vise Interface allows a MultiGrip Vise to capture, index and secure the jaws and part without any fastners and with outstanding repeatability.

On the front of the MultiGrip Jaws is the MultiGrip Gripper interface. A robot equipped with a MultiGrip Gripper can use the MultiGrip interface to capture and secure the MultiGrip Jaws as a part gripping and transfer tool.

MultiGrip Base Jaws

MultiGrip Base Jaws work with MultiGrip Top Jaws to provide a complete soft jaw system for the MultiGrip Vise. For operator loading, typically one set MultiGrip Base Jaws is required per MultiGrip Vise. One set of machineable MultiGrip Top Jaws are used per unique part shape held by the MultiGrip Vise.

MultiGrip Top Jaws work with MultiGrip Base Jaws as the per part consumeable component. One set of machineable MultiGrip Top Jaws are used per unique part shape. MultiGrip Top Jaws are available in three different thicknesses to suit a wide variety of part shapes. OD (Outer Diameter) clamping style jaws include a 1/8" machineable aluminum spacer used to set jaw spacing when machining the jaws. ID clamping style jaws require MultiGrip ID Jaw Clamping Fixture sold separately.

MultiGrip Fixed Jaws

MultiGrip Fixed Jaws have a built-in machineable surface instead of the replaceable Top Jaws of the MultiGrip Base Jaws. Use MultiGrip Fixed Jaws in applications where the weight of the jaws or the overall height of the jaws must be kept to a minimum. OD (Outer Diameter) clamping style jaws include a 1/8" machineable aluminum spacer used to set jaw spacing when machining the jaws. ID clamping style jaws require MultiGrip ID Jaw Clamping Fixture sold separately.

The MultiGrip ID Jaw Clamping Fixture is used when machining ID versions of the MultiGrip Top Jaws or MultiGrip Fixed Jaws. The MultiGrip ID Jaw Clamping Fixture allows the jaws to be held at the proper spacing during machining. The MultiGrip ID Jaw Clamping Fixture is reuseable.
